Vibratory hammers: high-frequency shocks

Conditions
high-frequency shocks/vibration with transient loads and heat.
Design requirements
the deck emphasises self-alignment, internal optimisation, precision and thermal stability.
Engineering focus
assess shock/vibration, shaft deflection, loading and mounting together; photographs or mean load alone cannot determine a designation.
Illustration
original hammer photographs from the presentation show the application context.
Clearance and heat treatment: mounting context

Clearance
larger-clearance groups in the deck must be evaluated with interference fits, thermal expansion and operating temperature; larger clearance is not a universal answer.
Cages/rollers
assess alternating-load capacity and lubrication under high-frequency vibration.
Thermal stability
match heat treatment/material to actual temperature and loading rather than treating heat by clearance alone.
Record
vibration frequency, eccentric arrangement, temperature trends, original suffixes and inspection photographs.
Group case: vibratory-hammer replacement

Background
the 2025 presentation records a replacement project for a Jiangsu Xinwei construction-machinery hammer.
Duty
high-frequency impacts, addressed through self-alignment, internal structure, clearance, precision and heat treatment.
Reported result
more than six months of service for the ZWZ product in that project.
Case scope
a project-specific record under its equipment/duty conditions, not a warranted life for every hammer or designation.
Information for an application enquiry
Equipment and position
machine model, mounting position and complete bearing designation with suffixes. For replacements, include the original arrangement and fit dimensions.
Operating records
bearing speed in rpm, radial and axial loads, shocks and starts/stops. Paper-web and rolling-line speeds are not bearing rotational speeds.
Lubrication and assembly
lubricant grade, oil supply or relubrication records, temperature, mounted clearance or preload, seals and contamination.
Problem and objective
temperature rise, noise, vibration or flaking, timing, photographs and maintenance records, plus the outage window or redesign objective.
